The Hotel Starý mlýn is located on a very unique place, that non of the other likewise accommodation facilities in Rokytnice nad Jizerou can offer. This view is valid in winter as well as in summer season.
In winter it is easy to reach with car on a well maintained road. No winter chains or complicated change to snowplough or snowmobile is needed. Our guest can easily reach the slopes right in opposite the hotel, that are located approximately 100–200 m away. More demanding ski enthusiasts can find a a ski-bus stop 200 m from the hotel. The bus is free of charge and will transport you to the biggest areal of Horní Domky, from where you can ride to the hotel on ski.
From spring, thru the summer up to autumn the hotel offers a calm settings for relaxation in its surroundings. It is located on the edge of the village, aside from the main road.
The areal of the hotel has maintained lawn and fair places for individuals, families with kids as well as corporate events. The hotel garden offers privacy and other self-realization under a magnificent evergreen from times of count Harrach.
